I have tried to research different strategies for this, but they all seem to be American oriented or only in the western provinces. Since I live in Ontario, this obviously doesn't work for me, and am now reaching out for some guidance. I did just buy Don Campbell's book about Joint Venturing, but was hoping somebody would be nice enough to steer me in the right direction as far as finding private lenders and other JV investors. Any info on this would be much appreciated. Thank you! Mike

Private lenders can be access through mortgage brokers.
JV partners: start with your own money for 2-4 deals, then show results and approach others via word-of-mouth, networking and later advertising. Convince them with hard data and convincing personality. Hard data includes: fact sheet about asset under consideration, website, brochure with facts about asset, area, province, economy and your life & real estate track record.
