how to get info on a city?

Further to Gary`s comment, if you call the City directly, they can link you in directly with the Economic Development Office. They should be able to help you find this info easily.

The CMHC website has free reports, some city specific reports are quite detailed and have average weekly earnings, vacancy rates, sales, prices, average rental prices, etc.
