Hi,

About 6 months ago Don Cambell had us fill out a questionaire to be used as leverage for purposes of getting better insurance rates for REIN members. Has anything come of that yet? Our current insurance issues have become a bit of a birds nest in desparate need of untangling. I`m inclined to cancel, (or allow to run out), everything and start fresh but am concerned with getting the best deal as well as service.


Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hi,

Large insurance companies move VERY VERY slowly, unlike us real estate investors. The last word we had is that they are in a trial period working with a select group of Members to work through their insurance needs to make sure their REIN exclusive insurance package is what Members want, and still fits for the insurance company.

I do recommend that if you have insurance issues, that you call their representative directly to request that yours be a part of this trial. Doug at Park Insurance will be handling the process 1-800-663-3739 [email protected]

(I know they have already saved me over $1,000 on one multi-family building alone and that included BETTER coverage than I was getting previously)
