Leasehold properties in BC

I am wondering what will happen after the end of lease period if we invest in leasehold properties instead of freehold ones especially for condos/townhomes?

You either renew the lease, at now known or utterly unknown terms, or you have to leave.

As such, ensure the price discount today is worth the potentially considerable risk of unknown future lease terms !
