Location for Vancouver meetings?

I am giving a lot of thought to hosting a number of seminars in Vancouver about real estate investing. I live in North Van, so fairly close to the SeaBus and Skytrain would be perfect, both for me and my attendees.

Can anyone suggest a good D/T location to rent a room for an evening? My hunch is that the major hotels would be priced out of my league, at least for now.

You might want to look into the Downtown SFU Campus.

It`s in a great location....

Hi

Don Francesco Ristorante on Burrard Street near Robson has a separate free room that seats about 30 people. You may have to consume some wonderful Italian food though to get the room for free. Just a delicious thought!
