Looking for a structural engineer

I am looking for a reputable structural engineer in the Newmarket/Aurora (Ontario) area. I need some expert advice in removing some walls from my home residence. Any referrals would be greatly appreciated.

I can recommend someone further North in the Midland area- Dave Lalonde of Quantum Engineering/Innovative Homes. He prepared the plans to take out a 26 foot supporting wall in my house. The Building Dept. rubber stamped it because it was prepared by an engineer- it was only a couple of hundred dollars for his consult and I was able to do all of the work myself. He provided various options based on cost/ease of installation, etc.

I have been working with Maurad for a number of years.

He gets all my structural clearances when I'm remediating grow-ops because the city inspector (Vaughan, Toronto, Richmond Hill) makes it a requirment.

He has good pricing and has a good reputation with the boys at city hall.
