LRT line expansion

Hello everyone.

My partner and I own an appartment building in Central Mcdougal and we have been informed that the new LRT rail line will going down our street (105th street ).Our street will not have car access anymore and the tenants will have to park in the back parking lot.My question is .Does anyone know how this will affect the value of our building (due to noise etc...)and will it affect us from getting tenants?

How far would your building be from a station? Not having car access isn't a pro, but being an easy walk to ctrain station is.

initially negative, due to lower rents and disruption.



After construction: positive ..



so the trick is to anticipate lower cash-flow during construction .. but a LTRT next door is positive overall and will hopefully help the pretty dreadful Central McDougal neighborhood !
