Hi Joe,
Another good reason for ALWAYS doing your due diligence on ANY property. As we discussed at the REIN WOrkshop in detail in February, there are critical consideration one must make BEFORE any investment, but especially Tropical or US property investments.
So many people get caught up in the romance of the deal, rather than asking the HARSH and BRUTAL questions that must be asked.
It is surprising how so many people work hard for their money, they buy things on sale (cars, furniture, food etc) but when it comes to a $50,000+ investment in tropical real estate, they willingly pay full price and do ZERO real due diligence.
I guess that is why we see the RCMP mentioned in this important article.
