Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum
The impact of visitors and tourism on the Mayan Riviera signifies strong economic growth. Cancun alone accounts for 12% of all travel to Mexico with Playa del Carmen being rated the fastest growing city in Latin America in 2006.
Large corporations such as : Marriot, Fairmont, Rosewood, Home Depot, Walmart, and Starbucks are expanding their operations on the riviera as the state of Quintana Roo has become very functional for foreigners to vacation, live, and invest in real estate. Mortgages are now available to through Scotia bank and a number of American lending institutions. Health care is rated excellent and much more affordable than Canada or the U.S.
These strong economic factors are the reason I have moved to Playa del Carmen and am now enjoying a lifestyle I never thought possible. The website at Caribe Properties where I am working now is www.caribeproperties.com. or you can contact me at trevor@caribeproperties.com with any questions.
