Only Saskatoon at 5.2 per cent will post higher GDP growth in 2013.
But Larry Hiles, president and CEO of the Regina Regional Opportunities Commission (RROC), noted that no major metropolitan area in the country has shown more consistently strong economic growth over the last four years than Regina.

Federal allocations have Saskatchewan accepting up to 4,450 new applications each year.
Legislative Secretary for Immigration, Paul Merriman says there's no indication of a slow down either. Merriman went on to add that people are seeing Saskatchewan as a land of opportunity. People want to see what Saskatchewan has to offer.
For all the good news about Saskatchewan`s population booming past 1.1 million people, let us hope Premier Brad Wall isn`t forgetting about places like Davin.
Or at the very least, let us hope his Saskatchewan Party government`s growth plan can somehow be extended beyond the city limits of Regina and Saskatoon and into those smaller rural Saskatchewan communities that remain the backbone of the province.
Manitoba's unemployment rate crept higher last month, just as the nation's dipped.
It's a trend critics call economic proof that a tax hike is no good for the province.
Provincial unemployment rose to 5.5% in September, up from 5.2% the previous month. Meanwhile, the national unemployment rate dipped 0.2% to 6.9% over the same period, a nearly five-year low.

REGINA ` Regina`s `red-hot` economy is heating up demand for industrial property in the city, causing industrial land to virtually double in price between 2008 and 2013 ` the biggest increase in Canada ` says the Re/Max Commercial Investor report released Tuesday.
