Ongoing Training

What type of expenses should be allowed as part of ongoing training? Are REIN fees reasonable in this area? What about the costs of different real estate courses? We now have 4 properties in Grande Prairie and I travel to Edmonton when I can to attend the REIN meetings.

REIN is $2500/year .. say an average 4 year stay .. so $10,000



Sounds like a lot .. but one mistake avoided is 2-200 times that PLUS all the profit potential if doen well over a 20 year investment career another 2-400 times that !



Ozzie Jurrock has a course in BC which costs about the same .. as does the Marcus Group in Toronto which is far more expensive as does Donald Trump and also "rich dad / poor dad" .. all of less quality in my opinion but they cost the same or far more ..



so yes, REIN fees are VERY reasonable for the first 2-3 years .. then certainly Don could lower the fees (but does not yet) as it gets repetitive !
