Hi, does anyone have any experience dealing with municipalities in regards to the requirement that either the main house or the secondary suite needs to be owner-occupied. I once saw a report done for the City of Edmonton where they had determined that this was unfair and they don't have that requirment. I currently have a home in BC where I would like to build a secondary suite, but I won't be living there any longer.
