I am trying to rent an apartment and the landlord is asking for Bank Statements. But I get paid in cash? What can I do to get proof of income?

Show him bank statements and receipts. Ideally a tax filing or T5.

Do you also pay in cash or is it a bank account based payment. You could show your bank statements or if you are concerned about privacy, you could use a service such as verifast.com
