I think I have a pretty good hold on what membership in REIN affords me. But before I pull the trigger I had one question, that hopefully a REIN member can answer . With the 17 month commitment that you have to make is there some kind penalty that you can pay to break the contract? I only ask because I want to do my due diligence and make sure if something extra ordinary occurs what are my options.

Thanks

There is no penalty. You can quit anytime.

Also read this related post here on "REIN Quickstart" : http://myreinspace.com/public_forums/General_Discussion/61-6747-Quickstart_vs_ACRE_System.html .. the essence is this here:

QuickStart is a marketing event to get new investors a taste of it .. you cannot realistically expect to get educated in a 2 1/2 day event .. or by reading one book ..

Quickstart is free once you join REIN, as it happens 2 - 3 times / year in various places (like AB, BC and/or ON)

Join REIN if you are seriously interested in growing your knowledge about real estate investing .. and applying it. Applying means: using or working it. Real estate is very profitable if done well .. but it takes a lot of work.

Joining REIN is $3000 to $4000 well spent if you like to work the system. If you seek entertainment and a quick buck only, it is not for you.

It's like reading a manual of a car .. you understand it now in principle .. but it takes many many weeks of driving to pass a test .. and many more months or years to be an expert driver !

Or: you do not lose weight or build muscles by joining a fitness club ! You actually have to use the equipment and work out .. week after week .. then you will lose weight or build muscles. Same in real estate. Doing a 2 1/2 day weekend event is good fun .. but actually using the system takes many months .. and usually 2-3 years to master .. and a lifetime to perfect !

So, go join the (REIN) club AND use the (ACRE) equipment !

Awesome if that is the case I'll be joining in short order. Thanks for the prompt reply!

I like Thomas` analogy of the fitness club. I used to work as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. I liked teaching people how to do it, I didn`t like taking them by the hand and encouraging/motivating them. REIN is precisely the same, they will give you more tools than you can use at once it is up to you to utilize the knowledge to your best ability and tailor it to fit your own system.
