QUOTE (llee @ Aug 29 2008, 12:48 PM) Hi,
Don`s book "Real Estate Investing in Canada" described ACRE system (scorecard, etc), and I read it. Is there any difference between what`s taught in the book, and what is taught in the Quickstart Live seminar or Home study manual/CD?
Thanks,
Lee
same thing .. QuickStart is a marketing event to get new investors a taste of it .. you cannot realistically expect to get educated in a 2 1/2 day event .. or by reading one book ..
Quickstart is free once you join REIN, as it happens 2 - 3 times / year in various places (like AB, BC and/or ON)
Join REIN if you are seriously interested in growing your knowledge about real estate investing .. and applying it. Applying means: using or working it. Real estate is very profitable if done well .. but it takes a lot of work.
Joining REIN is $3000 to $4000 well spent if you like to work the system. If you seek entertainment and a quick buck only, it is not for you.
It`s like reading a manual of a car .. you understand it now in principle .. but it takes many many weeks of driving to pass a test .. and many more months or years to be an expert driver !
Or: you do not lose weight or build muscles by joining a fitness club ! You actually have to use the equipment and work out .. week after week .. then you will lose weight or build muscles. Same in real estate. Doing a 2 1/2 day weekend event is good fun .. but actually using the system takes many months .. and usually 2-3 years to master .. and a lifetime to perfect !
So, go join the (REIN) club AND use the (ACRE) equipment !
