Hi All
I have recently moved from Sydney, Australia to Vancouver, Canada and I am doing some perlimery research into the Canadian Real Estate market particularly look at property development / subdivision process.
Currently at the moment I am getting my head around where to locate information on property trends. It appears that alot of the information is very segmented compared to what I am used to. The types of information I am looking for include:
Basically any data that can be used to provide a snapshot into the various municipalities within various areas. One of the databases that we have in Australia is called RP data which is a subscription service primarily used by agents to research historical housing prices.
I know that one of the key tools used by investors is the various MLS search facilities however this seems to be clunky and I am having difficulty in finding snapshots of different areas.
Any information you could provide would be great.

- Median property prices per suburb
- Trending graphs on media prices
Analysis on supply and demand
New developments
