Require copy of Mortgage Verification Statement

Hello, All. I am looking for a copy of Mortgage Verification Statement so that when this couple accepts my offer tonight which says that I may assume their mortgage, I can get them to sign this document so that I can get their lender to release their mortgage info to me. I was told there is a copy on this website but I can`t seem to find it. Can anyone help?

Hi Leanne,

What you`ll want to do is to have the vendor call their bank and arrange for a confirmation of mortgage. You`ll also want to ensure that they confirm that it is assumable (if that is part of your strategy).

Put the onus on them to provide the docs.
