With the bed bug problems seemingly increasing across the country, The Ontario Legislature is proposing to amend the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006. Bill 94 will require landlords, before a tenancy agreement is entered into, to disclose information that has come to the landlord`s attention during the previous five-year period. With that being said, if your property has had bed bugs, you could soon be required to inform prospective tenants about this.
