I have a home based company in Edmonton and I`m looking to buy a residential house and apply to the City and have rezoned in a commercial property. I talked yesterday with Greg Habstrit after his wonderful presentation but his experience is only in Calgary. However he told that rezoning is not easy and might take years. Does anyone have any experience in Edmonton? My first thought is going to the City of Edmonton, Dept of Planning and talk in person with an agent. Any suggestions?
