Selling your home during the Holidays

If you are selling your property during the holiday season, remember to keep decorations to a minimum.


Keep the decorations simple such as fresh greenery and white lights with a few tasteful decorations.


Also keep in mind the following if you are listing your home during the holidays:

• Keep walkways, porches and driveways clear of snow and ice. Make sure that the entrances are clear, safe and bright.
• Hang a real wreath. This helps give a welcoming feeling and the fresh greens give off a pleasant fragrance.
• Ensure that all extension cords are tucked away to avoid tripping hazards
  Keep the indoor temperature at a comfortable setting
  You want your property to appeal to the most buyers so try to keep religious icons to a minimum or take away during showings to avoid possible offending someone.
  If using an indoor Christmas tree, ensure that there is still adequate room to move around. Remove excess furniture if necessary or get a smaller sized tree.
