It's ALWAYS a good idea to do your best to soundproof your basement apartment to keep tenants happy! There's several good products that can be used individually OR combined to maximize the results!
 
Great video! It is definitely worth every penny...any advice for soundproofing after drywall?

Actually yes there is something you can do. If you already have drywall on you can simply add an additional layer of drywall over the existing drywall. There is a sound dampening caulking that home depot carries that goes between the 2 layers of drywall that helps. Also instead of adding drywall you can use quiet-rock gypsom sheets. It can go over the existing drywall as well and is basically like a REALLY dense and expensive type of drywall that's equal to roughly 8 sheets of regular drywall.
