I have searched for the topics related to eviction process and I believe what I saw is all from AB and ON but I haven`t seen anything from BC. I am going through with the bad tenant process and would like to know how the eviction process works in BC and who are the reliable Bailiff services in Vancouver/Lower Mainland area?

Cheers

Hi RABKA,

I recently evicted a tenant in a small town in B.C. Luckily they left without requiring a bailiff, so I can`t help you with that. The place to look for information is the B.C. Residential Tenancy Office website, where you will find full information regarding evictions - although you do need to hunt around on the site for all the details.

I too found a lack of information on the REIN website regarding issues in B.C., so my only resource was the RTO site. At the moment I`m trying to find a good lease agreement that is specific to B.C.. Hopefully this is something that can be addressed by REIN!

good luck,
Sonja

Thanks Sonja

I may be able to help you with the lease agreement, so give me a call @ 604-351-7491 and we can work this out.

Much appreciated for your reply

Hi Rabka,

Depending on the situation, your legal rights to evict vary. If you send me an email, I can send you a couple of guides which detail the rules for evictions in BC. I`ve never used a bailiff, so I can`t refer you to one.

best of luck,
