Veteran REIN Member and well-respected Calgary area realtor Brett Turner recently sent some great intel on the latest secondary suite bylaw amendments sitting before the Calgary Planning Commission.
The secondary suite bylaw amendment report was heard by the Calgary Planning Commission on March 26, 2015. The Commission approved the recommendations of the report, which was to direct the amendments to Council for May 11 Public Hearing, and recommended approval of the proposed changes.
The Public Hearing is scheduled with Council for May 11, 2015. The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m and will be held in Council Chambers, located in the Municipal Building at 800 Macleod Trail SE. The meeting will also be broadcast online at Calgary.ca as well as on Channel 89 for Shaw Digital TV customers with a digital terminal.
