I thought the last Quick Start and the most recent Western conference were the best I`ve ever attended. The highlight today was Steve from Australia`s presentation. I found his insights and presentation style refreshing. I`m happy to hear that he`ll be returning quarterly. I also found Greg`s candid presentation regarding the realtor-client relationship very helfpul for my future dealings with realtors.

The calibre and high standards under which REIN operates and the people I`ve met or heard about through REIN inspires me to strive for more. On a different note, I finally picked up the book 51 Success Stories. I have been putting off reading it since I didn`t see how reading an anthology of short success stories would help but I was wrong. After reading a few stories through dinner, I realized that there are so many people who started out in situation that was less "ideal" than the situation I am in now but managed to do extremely well regardless. The realization made me want to slap myself a few times but now that I have a better grasp of the realm of possibilities, success seems more tangible and I don`t have much of an excuse not to reach my goals too.

Well for me it was the first REIN event i ever attended,it was awesome,i learned so much and i found myself just saying ohhhhhhhh throughout the conference.I have been to some seminars like Fast track and many others.I fInd the information presented to me today was more relevant to my situation. One of the best momentswa s the talk i had with CMHC,i found that to be so helpful and oh that Steve guy despite the fact that i could hardly understand his lovely accent, was great. One thing i also felt was good is the welcome,as soon as i said my name the gal on the counter(cant remember name)jus said oh thembi i read ur forum bla bla bla, that made me feel welcome and part of the group. After talking to lots of individuals i got so many ideas and so much motivation and surprisingly everyone i spoke to said something like "i wish i had joined rein ealier,i would be far by now".Unlike other seminars where pple are not sure abt their product, rein members seem to be so content its amazing.Nways i look forward to bring a part of this great team,i realise i have lots to learn and i cant wait to receive my package and start reading.

You`re right, the ladies at the counter are very sweet. Most people I`ve come acrross in REIN are genuinely good hearted and helpful.

I agree, a very good day overall. It was my first experience with REIN (besides reading Don`s first two books and being an active "lurker" of this website), and my high expectations were satisfied.

Peter Kinch, IMO, was especially fantastic. I found that he took real world issues of today and related them to the real estate industry in an entertaining, informative way. Seems like a real pro who`s passionate about what he does and very on top of all impactful trends.

I also liked Greg Habstritt a lot, too. His proposed performance-based commission structure for realtors, as well as his passing of the fact that there`s no "standard" commission fees for the industry (and that it`s against the law for a realtor to say that), were really interesting stuff.

And, of course, the Top 10 Towns report - I`ll admit that I`ve been a little leary of the Calgary market that`s been hammered by headlines and sales stats lately, but reading this report just sort of puts you at ease. There`s fundamentally no reason why the real estate market in this city should continue to soften, which is beyond nice to read and understand from an unbiased source.

We`re sure glad you all enjoyed it. We like to ensure that the calibre of our events improve 10% every month and this Conference and Bus Tour was a new level of member value.

Now it is time to put the new found knowledge to work.
