http://www.theamericannightmare.org/ What is behind this curtain???
This website does not paint a pretty picture. It makes you wonder if it is worthwhile to invest south of the border. Is the economy down south just going through another downturn or is their a lot more to consider this time? Doomsayers have been around for many years and usually when they start talking, it is the time to be buying all that you can. Everything is on sale and will be that way til the supply starts to dry up. What effect would such a catastrophe have on Canada? Or the rest of the world?

I see now that tomatoes are on the banned list for U.S. fast food chains. Never could figure out why they just don`t switch to Canadian grown products temporarily. Last i believe it was spinach that was removed from our shelves. This is mentioned on the website as well.

Will we see the collaspe of the U.S. dollar and the introduction of the new Amero dollar and then business as usual?

Do we dismiss this as bunk or factor it into our daily plans as we move into the future building our real estate portfolios?

(10 mins later after the posting... just tried the link and it was not working... not sure if it was removed or just being updated at the moment???)

I`d say that article looks like a bit of an exageration. I`m not planning to invest in the US anytime soon, however, you need to be able to read beween the lines. Where did this information come from, who wrote it, and do they have an underlying agenda?

pandemics are nothing new to the world. what`s remarkable about the diseases that have been touted as the "next pandemics" is that through modern means of communication and medicine, the diseases have been contained quite well.

blasphemy???

I don`t think I will take this article too seriously.

It came to me off a Yahoo Group. Not sure who wrote it as it appears to be the writer`s opinions backed up with news links to create the website. There is no "Contact Us" anywhere that i could see, just a place where you can add your comments to.

My personal rule is that I don`t spread info like this unless it has a proven source as well sourced research. Anyone can have an opinion, our job as investors is to look for those who`s opinion has support and research. No need to post anything but substantive reports here.
