Hi,
I am going the 1040NR route and filing a tax return in the US. I have read many articles stating that submitting w-8eci (formally called form 4224) was necessary to give to your tenant or property manager. However I talked to my CPA and they said it was not required only send it if I am asked. What are your thoughts?
