I was hoping to get a couple of people who have taken Wade`s course to comment. Was it worth the investment or not? Did you use the info after the seminar and if so was it accurate and helpful?

Thanks in advance,
The other Wade

yes i took it many years ago .. should be better now after many years of improving ... VERY good .. if you like foreclosures and associated headaches with mortgages in arrears and therefore distressed people who still own these assets .. !!

I never took Wade`s course, however I did speak with the guy once and he definitely knows his stuff.

Foreclosures are not what they seem in Alberta... I spent many thousands of dollars learning the system and how it works. I also made a decent amount of money, but, in my opinion, it wasn`t worth the effort and the expense. You MIGHT end up with a great deal but you don`t get to pick your property and they ALL need work.

There are deals out there... but nearly every good lead I chased down ended up refinancing or finding a better price from one of the companies in the yellow pages. Often at the last minute after I had put a lot of effort into putting a deal together. There are lots of lenders that finance on equity alone.

Also, if you think tenants in arrears can be tough to deal with wait until you are at a kitchen table with someone about to lose their house...

Just my $0.02

Surely more than two people have taken Wade`s course! Anyone else have comments?

I took Wade`s course prior to joining REIN. It was hearing from the other REIN members in the course that finally made me see that I should take a better look at what REIN offers.

I did learn quite a bit from the course, but now that I have been a REIN member for a couple of years, I am not sure how much is a repeat of what I know from REIN or new material.

There must be a lot of opportunity right now in Foreclosures (or Pre-Foreclosures). Wade has done really well and has over 100 houses.

I would recommend calling Wade up (if you haven`t spoken to him already).

Cheers, Terry Kruse
