What affect does free public housing have on adjacent property value?

BC Housing is putting in a 45 unit complex to house the homeless 2-3 blocks from my house. What effect might this have on neighbourhood property values?

It’s not positive but if it is 2-3 blocks away it is minor.

Thefts, defecation and drug use may increase though in the area.
