Hello, I am planing to apply for HELOC at Scotiabank. In my knowledge there are fees associated with it - appraisal fee and lawyer fees. Some people I talked to, mentioned that thhe bank can wave some of the fees - is that true? Any other thoughts on opening HELOC? Thanks in advance.
