Utility companies usually charge a deposit when you take over an account if you dont have 1 year history with that utility which equates ~300. Check your bill maybe that was the case.

I send them to people who request them. Some students receive credits for housing during the school term and require a receipt to show they have spent the money on housing.

I agree with Mike but for different reasons. Hamilton is right next door with better rents and a much looser bylaws.

What are the risks of renting out to someone who may be declaring bankruptcy in the next 6 months? Would you still be covered if the person had a co-applicant sign? Some thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated
