    PG?

I just spent the weekend up there for a family reunion and talked to cousins etc and they all say that it's a decent rental market as the university is growing and the fact that a lot of people up there would rather put a down payment on an $80,000 jacked up truck rather than property. But...

    Cost of lobby mailboxes???

Check out www.mailboxes.com...they are US mailboxes but I have used them and just removed the US plate on the front. I looked at the 5 box verticle unit and it was going for $150. So for 20 units you'd need 4 of these for cost of $600. Not sure exactly what you want but it's a start. Taylor

    Regina Single family strategy

This tough to advise on without seeing the property as in that area you have some houses going for $150k and some going for close to $300k. If your house is in need of major repairs I would probably not waste the money on renovating unless you were looking to sell or unless you can increase...

    Calgary price per door

Ya I'm thinking more along the lines of multifamily building. At $150s for decent 2 beds, in general, do you think that's a little high to pay now or do you see the market being strong for a while? I realise each building should be evaluated on it's own, I'm just looking for more of a...

US Economy effect on Canadian real estate

My apologies Mike, I didn't see your post in the other forum...but I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw this. (Thanks to Thomas for pointing that out). With regards to whether the US will default on its debts, I have heard that the Federal Reserve has been essentially "printing money" (and I...

US Economy effect on Canadian real estate

I'm not sure if this has been directly discussed in this forum somewhere, but a June 9th article in the Financial Post resparked questions I have concerning the US economy and its effect on Canadian real estate. The article can be found @...

    Multi-Family bootcamp or Home-Study course

Well alright then...sounds like I have to make a stop off in Toronto on my way home from the UK! Learning is definitely more fun when interacting with others! I just wasn't sure if I should be caught up to speed before attending bootcamp or if I should just jump right in! Thanks for the...

    Multi-Family bootcamp or Home-Study course

Hi, I'm contemplating going to the Multi-Family bootcamp in Toronto at the end of June but am wondering if Don's Investing in Multi-Family Properties Home-Study Course would be a better option for me. I am at that stage where I've done enough residential investing and now want to step it up to...
