Rooms to rent in NW Calgary

I would suggest talking to some agencies or English schools downtown. There are lots of foreign students that are always looking from Japan, Korea, China, etc... You have to find out their semester cycles. The only issue I see with your location is the access to the train system as well...

Should I lock in my open variable mortgages

Thanks guys for all your input on the topic. May be we should compile the pros and cons...Truly there are good arguments from both sides of the spectrum. It seems to come down to one`s tolerance in terms of risk or sleep comfort. I had this inner battle since I started in this business in...

Should I lock in my open variable mortgages

QUOTE (thomasbeyer2000 @ Dec 18 2008, 10:36 AM) anything sub-5% is good .. and variable will not be a lot lower .. so if you like the peace of mind .. lock it in .. but usually it pays to stay variable .. so it depends on the price of "peace of mind" for you ! Thanks Thomas for your valued...

Should I lock in my open variable mortgages

Currently I am riding off a prime - 0.75 open variable mortgages that are not due in 2 to 3 years time. RBC is offering me to transfer my mortgages to them to a 4 year closed at 4.68%. Should I lock in some or even all? What would one do in this case? Would you stay at the variable and ride...

Someone broke into my tenant`s unit

I would say get her to report it to the police no matter what... It is really hard to say if she did the damage to the door to let her self in due to her loosing the key or locking her self in, or she is plainly telling the truth. You really have to investigate! Just a short story to share to...

Property Manager for Townhouse - Edmonton

QUOTE (MichaelBradfield @ Nov 27 2008, 09:22 PM) Do not use Realty Canada - Don King - he put welfare cases in our condos at lower rents than he was supposed to, and we had to pay $1200 for an eviction when water started coming out under the door into the hallway, costing $3000 in repairs...

    Calgary LRT (Train) Extension

Thanks Brett, It is nice to hear from someone with the same situation. You made a very good point. It is important for the tenants the easy access to a transit and to be able to save money and not to mention the environment for not having to buy and drive a car. I do agree that tenants will...

Hi Folks, I would like to ask some of your opinion regarding a matter that I have been wondering about for a while. I found out last year that an open space and bike path behind one of my rental property in Calgary in the next year or so will be a path to an extension line for a Light Rail...

    Up and Down Suites

These days a positive cash flow is hard to come by unless a prospective property is one that can be fully maximized, i.e. an up and down suite with double car garage, etc... Just for a discussion, I would like to ask individual opinions on the subject. Is it worth it, given its side effects...
