Hi Everyone,
I was surfing MLS tonight and doing quick ball-park cashflow analysis. I got sick of doing quick calculations so I did up a quick sheet. It`s useful to me because I have a decent handle on rents in Edmonton and there are good resources to find comparable rents.
If you`re searching for 3 bedroom condos in the north east, and know that (for example) you can get $1700 a month, to get the rule between 8-10% you can pay between $204,000 and $255,000.
I printed one off and put it behind my desk so it`s convienent. Thought you might like to have a copy. You can download it here (right click and save).
Hope you find it useful.
