Airdrie area

What is the market like in the Airdrie area? I am kind of new to this but it looks like I will be landing a job in Calgary and thought it may be cheaper to buy in an outlying area.

Airdrie market has been strong due to the development in the region (both residential and commercial) and the ripple effect out from Calgary.

You will see a lot of newer homes there,making it a little more difficult to achieve positive cash flow.
