Just wanted to share an experience in Edmonton, we just sold our home in southwest Edmonton in a very interesting way. After being on the market for one day, and 6 offers later it sold unconditionally for much higher than was anticipated, and much higher than anything else in the area for several years. Am I alone in seeing a resemblance to 2007? We have lived in Edmonton for 9 years and after some stability in the past few years seems to be taking off again. Has the time come to consider selling more property? or are we still in RE spring/summer?

Edmonton, for now, is in perpetual summer, until oil and gas is depleted, say in 2465 ?

See cartoon on our facebook page.

Calgary seems much the same (as you would expect) it seems that anything with half decent potential under $400K has at least one offer on the table after just 2 days on the market. ;-)
