The province’s unemployment rate rose to 8.8 per cent in January, from 8.5 per cent a month earlier, as more people looked for work. Calgary’s unemployment rate fell to 9.8 per cent, from 10.1 per cent.

This article also seems to suggest the worst is over and things are starting to turn around. Most conversations I'm having these days, and especially those tied to drilling is that they are all busy and activity has picked up.

Mainstreet equities also very bullish and on a buying frenzy and predicting a rebound this year.

By 2040, Canadian crude oil production in the Reference Case reaches 963 10³m³/d (6.1 MMb/d) , 56 per cent higher than 2014 levels. By the end of the projection period, oil sands production accounts for 79 per cent of total production, compared to 59 per cent in 2014. New refinery where? Llloyd or Regina? If only potash and uranium would bounce back at the same time we'd be rocking.

Neither. Just outside Estevan. ~1/3 size of COOP in Regina. No shovels in the ground. But the land is purchased and they've got a track record of following through. It'll make a big difference to a town 1/20 size of Regina.
