Hi, my name is Kevin Radtke. I`m hoping to connect with any REIN members in Winnipeg. I am looking into becoming a REIN member myself and just wanted to chat with anyone in Winnipeg about our local market and what the REIN membership advantages are for those of us outside the Alberta, Ontario & BC focus areas.

1) What has been your experience with REIN and how long have you been a member?
2) How have you been ably to apply the Quickstart program and market research to start (or expand) your real estate portfolio in Winnipeg --> Manitoba and outside the province?
3) Are there any REIN members in Winnipeg that get together to network?
4) As a REIN member, is there a network of good realtors, lenders, accountants and other professionals in Winnipeg that will make up important members of my team?
5) Would you recommend REIN membership for those of us living in Winnipeg?

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to provide some feedback! I look forward to "meeting" you.

Hi,

Great to see that you`ve identified the importance of surrounding yourself with like-minded people. There are a number of REIN Members located in Manitoba, I hope they see this post and share their experiences.

The Quickstart Program works all across the country, in every region (Victoria to St. John`s), as it is designed to help the long-term investor to identify towns and neighbourhoods that have a strong future. There are many investors who use it outside of Canada as well because bottom lin economic fundamental investing can work anywhere if the system is followed. It helps to keep you out of regions that don`t have long-term potential and helps you focus on those that do.

Hi Kevin,

I`m also from Winnipeg, and hoping to meet and network w/ other Winnipegers.
Maybe once we identify more from our city we can all get together.

Thanks for the encouragment Don!

Nice to meet you Romilyn - Lets see who responds to this post.

I`ve just signed up as a new REIN member, but I`m still hoping to connect with others in the Winnipeg area. There`s got to be some of you out there, don`t be shy.

Hi guys,

It’s awesome to hear from like-minded people on a local level. I’m currently starting out with my real estate investing, and have made some valuable contacts in forming my team. I am always looking to meet new individuals to share knowledge and insights with. Feel free to drop me an email anytime to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, I`m from Toronto but am interested in investing in Winnipeg. If any of you can recommend a good local realtor/investor, property manager, lawyer insight into the districts of Winnipeg & I`d appreciate it.

Hey Kevin,

First of all Happy New Years everyone. We are also living in Winnipeg and looking to get to know some other winnipeg investors. Send us an email and we should try to set something up where we can all get together or something.

Hi Jen & Richard,

Just a couple of notes about forum etiquette and how to use this boards:

First, this thread was very old. As per rule #5, "As a general rule, do not bring up old inactive threads, especially in forums with a high turn over of new topics such as General Discussion." Please make sure that you have read the rules.

In a case like this, you would be better off to send a PM. Just click on the person`s name that you want to send a PM to and click "Send Message".

Second, you don`t actually have your e-mail address displayed in your profile, so nobody can e-mail you. Either you can change your e-mail address to not be private in your profile or you can just ask people to send you a PM.
