Hello again to the readers and frequent poster Thomas,
I've suddenly found myself with 250K in RRSP funds available in June and have decided to use them to diversify into Albertan RE with a trip out to AB to look at the assets underlying different LP's as part of the due diligence to pick 1-3. Prestigious Properties and the Cold Lake development are on the short list, and I've read the very useful 9 step guide posted on LP due diligence Thomas has posted.
The other ones I've looked at are Walton for the land-banking strategy, which I have no experience with. I have heard of Invest Plus. Are there any other RE focused LP's operating in Alberta that others may recommend to look at?
Also. are there any decent books on how to invest in the exempt market? I don't find anything on amazon at all, which is odd since this is a very large investing market/strategy.
