I ran across this website http://www.glennlakinvestments.com/ while checking out real estate on kijiji and craigslist. I`ve perused their website and ran a few numbers with the limited information they gave on there, and it seems to make sense financially.

My question, has anyone here dealt with them or gotten more information about their successes or invested with them and do their claims match their performance? I have an agent calling me today and I`ll update this as things come along.

Any information would be appreciated.

Update: I just spoke with Quinn who is their toronto representative and am gathering more information. They charge $4000 per deal that gets made so that is what they have into it. For that fee they provide everything listed on their page which is everything a savy investor would do themselves, plus free property managment. It appears to be a fairly solid deal for someone with a decent cash base and who is lookign for a hands off investment, vs entering a JV pertnership for example. I am picking through a list of properties sent to me and most of them have great ROI just on the monthly cash flow from rent. I plan on investigating the market in buffalo further to see if there is much chance on making gains when selling. Let me know if you`d like more information about any of the properties (one currently for sale appears to have almost 76% ROI on a$5000 investment.

Does anyone know anything about the market in Buffalo?

Thanks, interesting post!

Haven`t heard about them but I agree it`s worth further investigation. let us know how it`s going if you decide to work with them..

Cheers,
Neil

Hi,

I`m looking to invest with them, too. I noticed on their website that they have a referral program, so I was wondering if you`re not interested to split the referal money? Please let me know, my email is: [email protected]

Thanks,
C.

Hi,

I was wondering if you finalized and bought the property from Glenn lake Investments. I`m currently in the process of finalizing an investment and was asked to wire the payment for the property into a person`s account (escrow agent). My bank said that typically one would transfer the money to an escrow company not to the person`s name.... so I`m not too clear....wanted to know if everything went smooth at your end ??

Thanks,
