Application form for commercial space.

Hello,

I hope I am putting this enquiry in the right place!

I have some commercial space in a strip mall for lease. In the past I have had good luck leasing space to good people and I have had no trouble. This time I am not too sure. I would like to be able to screen them better and more professionally.

Does anyone have any advice or, perhaps, an Application Form that I could use to get started? I am not sure what to ask on an Application Form. I would like to start doing Credit Checks.

Any advice is appreciated.

You could hire a commercial leasing agent that is able to do that, and also get wider reach. They usually charge about three month rent as their fee. You will also get free consulting with that and likely a better leasing contract with more teeth. You need to evaluate applicants' financial depth, business expertise and overall health/mental capacity !

Thanks Thomas. I think i'll do that. The applicant I have can't give me a deposit until at least June. That's what made me leary of him. I need to get some professional help.
