Are there any General interest courses in the Edmonton School Board??

Hello everyone, I am thinking about moving from Toronto to Edmonton and I am just looking into Edmonton to see what the city offers before I move there.



I was wondering if anybody knows if there are any General Interest Courses offered by the Edmonton School board or any other educational body. For Example in Toronto the Toronto District School Board offers for adults a large variety of general interest courses to learn new things and build up skills, like wood working courses for 180$ for 9 weeks and language and dance classes or art.



So i was wondering if Edmonton had a similar program to allow me to pick up new skills and hobbies and meet new people. I have searched on Google but can't seem to find anything.

You might try the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension or the sites for the other large post secondary institutions...NAIT or McEwen. Also Edmonton Public Schools has a metro continuing education which may be of interest http://www.metrocontinuingeducation.ca/
