Cash Flow Alternatives?

When someone hits a brickwall as regards to getting financing, he or she should find some alternatives to create cash flow that could boost his merits to qualify later. Does anybody have any ideas as to what other alternatives are out there that we could explore?

In the past, we have invested in mortgages that usually provide 11-12% return paid monthly. Provides some secure cashflow while offering a decent return on idle money.

Pay off as much personal debt as you can! If you have a mortgage on your principal residence, get a readvanceable mortgage. Pay down the mortgage portion with the funds you have, and the remainder becomes available on your LOC. Keeping your personal debt down reduces your TDS and makes it easier to qualify.
