Thanks Joey, and thanks for everyone's support. The final DNS transfers are now going through.






Even with as much testing as we did, it will not be 100% perfect. As more of the community uses the forum we will iron out all the last items. If something is not working for you please let us know... we have a team of programmers on call for the transition, and we will get your challenges ironed out ASAP.







As well, if you have any suggestions to make the experience more enjoyable, please let us know. One of the main reasons for this transition was so we would have 100% control of the software for the forum. We can program and control almost everything on this site now. On the previous site we were held hostage by the software. Now we can modify and change anything on the site.





I'm sure that that some (myself included) may have a few difficulties, because the system is new. I had a couple of challenges the first few times on the new forum, but after spending some time looking around, answering some posts, running some searches... this new environment is much more preferred than the previous one.

I find the response time slower to be honest, and having trouble just finding forum posts that (in the old format) might interest me simply by their title? It all looks more like a blog now than a forum, but perhaps I am doing something wrong.



Is the forum just one big list of topic entries now, or can you still view sub forums, and their individual posts? Perhaps someone can direct me to the list of forums and sub forums. I simply cannot navigate at all and I find it frustrating, at least at present.

O.K think I have t figured out as I just saw the forum titles atop each page, so I can avgate back to the general headings. Still, so used to seeing these things separated by boxes, it looks all one thing together (blog style). Perhaps some like that, but it is different to the norms on most other boards. This edit screen takes a long time to load on my screen. Who am I too complain with less than 100 posts? I liked the last format, and I am an old dog. It's very pretty!

less than 3 lines per post summary .. 2 lines max .. thus: more posts per overview page !



less REIN stuff on the right (narrower)



faster web server .. real slow at times !!
