If you have an older SFH will secondary suite, note that the water pressure and hot water supply may become an issue if you have too many water using appliances used close to the same time. For that you may consider adding second HWT or tankless. If I had to choose between a guaranteed hot shower or ensuite laundry, I would definitely want hot water for a shower. Just something to consider.
