Good article in todays Herald Don. I do have a related question for you. You mentioned that AB RE is hot in Europe and the US. Where from the US are the buyers coming from and what are they looking for? Interesting to find out as well, was that even as far as Irland investors know about the AB RE market. : )

Sophisticated US investors are coming here to park their money in a relatively strong economic market, smart investors put their money where it will work hard the DO NOT chase cheapness (that`s what the masses do - hence all of the `seminars` on tropical and US real estate being flogged all across Canada right now).

Europeans are also looking for strong economic fundamentals and they like what they see here in Canada, especially out west.

Value is not is price, value is found in areas where there is strong economic development. That is why Canadian investors must NOT chase cheap, they should be chasing value.
