Hi everyone,
Since we are relatively new to the topic of Real Estate Investing, we are going thru the education process to get ourselves up to speed...
There is A Financial Invesment Forum going on in Toronto this weekend at the Metro Toronto Convention Center... there seems to be a lot of banks & online investment brokerages sponsoring the event, but it says there is a lot of Real Estate content as well. http://www.financiaforum.ca/toronto/

Has anyone been to this Forum before? Was there value in it, or are they just looking for new clients or trying to sell their product? We get that enough from our bank today

I`m not sure I need to visit to find that out if that is the case. There are a ton of seminars all day, but none of the presenters sound familiar except Patricia Lovett Reid. I`m sure there is always value to be found, but we have such little time on the weekends, we like to ensure we use it to the maximum (personally going to open houses is research that can be a lot more fun

Thanks for any input!

Hi Ami,

I went to this years financial forum on Thursday. It is not worth $20.00 plus to get there. It is free if you pre register. They have maybe 6-8 RE booths. In my opinion not worth the trip down there if you have little time over the weekend. If you have an abundance of free time and you want to head over it never hurts. You might meet a perspective JV partner in the crowd.

The whole show can be walked with stopping in 20 min. If your like me and like to talk to much an hour.

Hope this helps
