Finding Member (future friends) User Profiles

I was on the bus tour last week. And I would like to look at some of their profiles. I only have the first name, partial name, or what I think are full names of these of members.



How do I look them up? I looked for a facebook like feature to find people, but I cannot find one. I did find the page that lets me add a friend. However, I have to be at their user profile to do so.



Please let me know what I am missing here.

OK. I think I figured it out. Unlike facebook. Jon, john, johnathan, jack, jonny, and johnny all need to be looked up separately. And I need to know the persons last name correctly. I cannot get any partial fills.
