For those that question REIN

Hi everyone,

Last night was the first Ontario member meeting that I attended. I have been a long time member (well, only since Oct 2007) but long enough. I was up to date on material and meeting information via my mail membership.

I was not `ready` to go to the meetings for one reason or another.

This month changed it all. For no reason than my own, it was time for me to get out and take the last step.

I can tell you that the people, the energy and whole `vibe` of the meeting was incredible. It was great being in a room of 200 people of varying expertise and success that had the same vision as you. Each one of these people treat you like a partner. There is no sense of `levels of success` if you know what I mean.

Case in point, I walked straight up to Don at the break and he was genuinely happy to shake my hand and chat for a couple minutes. I told him it was my first meeting since becoming a member in Oct and stated that it is a totally different feeling live than on the CDS. His response paraphrased was "Yes, I can`t understand why more people do not attend". Exactly.

I would like to thank Don for the opportunity and the whole REIN team and presenters each month for their time and effort in bringing us the information we need to succeed.

I did not get a chance to meet Russell, but will next month.

Guys, get used to me because there will be a time when we are sharing the stage together!

I wanted to post this here in the general discussions so non-members could get an understanding of why membership is so important. If not right now, in the very near future.

It was a pleasure meeting you as well!

The Ontario REIN Workshop was very, very detailed and the energy that the 250+ people in attendance brought was tremendous.

CD`s are great for the odd event that you miss, as it keeps you on top of the fundamentals but being in attendance has that something extra. Great to see so many Members from Ottawa, Barrie, Windsor and other outlying area driving in for the evening workshop, that is commitment. Commitment to their own future.

Congratulations Joey! It`s interesting to see how you write about how well you understand yourself - you did this at your pace and on your terms. That will be a big strentgh for you going forward. When we`re ready things are just so much more powerful and effective, aren`t they. Now fasten your seatbelt - I think your approach to life shows that you`re going to enjoy the ride, and I won`t be surprised to see you on the stage down the road.
