Gas giant not scared of royalty changes

After refusing to be scared out of completing a $113-million takeover by Alberta royalty hikes last fall, an international natural gas giant vowed today to keep on looking for more acquisitions. "Absolutely we`re in the market," said Lois Hedg-peth, senior Canadian officer of Direct Energy, the Toronto-based North American subsidiary of Centrica plc (formerly British Gas).
