Just a few months ago, the Media made it sound like the world was coming to a end if the big Automakers go bankrupt.
Monday, June 1, 2009, the world`s largest automaker goes into chapter 11 bankruptcy, wiping out bond holders, and shareholders, and who knows what to the suppliers of GM, and the public does not care.
The New York Stock Exchange went 221 points with the news of GM. The market goes up with BAD news. Go figure.
CNN headlines last night was the missing Air France airplane.
So thank you to the swine flu outbreak, for changing the negative economic news cycle.
